A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL
This role is part-time working 3 days per week, typically Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
What you'll be doing..
- Develop
and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Build
and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, acting as a
primary contact for all group, LNR & KNR accounts
- Identify
new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, positioning
the hotel as a preferred hotel in the market
- Attend
central sales meetings and commercial reviews
- Manage
and negotiate rates with new and existing clients
- Analyse
data to identify trends and follow up on any action needed
- Prepare
detailed sales reports and provide support to General Manager on strategic
decision-making
- Generate
new leads
- Manage
the hotels social media
What We Need from You:
- Minimum
of 2 years’ experience in sales within the hospitality sector, with a
proven record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships
effectively
- A
keen interest in social media
- Exceptional
communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with a
professional and persuasive approach
- In-depth
understanding of sales principles and strategies, with experience in
strategic planning, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Knowledge
of Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate and analyse sales data
from other systems
- Strong
negotiation and contract management skills, with a keen eye for detail to
ensure mutually beneficial agreements
- Highly
organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects in a
fast-paced environment
- Flexibility
to work outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, and
attend off-site meetings or events as required
- A
positive, proactive approach with the ability to identify and act on new
opportunities in line with hotel objective
