About the Role:
Forward Leeds is the city's alcohol and drug service, providing advice, support and treatment for adults, young people and families.
Our Young People's Service works with young people to reduce the impact of alcohol and drug use, improve wellbeing and help them achieve positive outcomes.
As a Young Persons Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Manager and Senior Workers with the day-to-day administration of the service.
You'll help ensure the smooth running of operations by managing referrals, tracking caseloads, maintaining accurate records and acting as the first point of contact for young people, families and professionals accessing or contacting the service.
This is a part-time role based at Forward Leeds, 3 Armley Court, Armley Road, Leeds, LS12 2LB. Your working days will be Monday and Wednesday, with a third working day to be agreed with the successful candidate to meet the needs of the service.
What You'll Do:
As a Young Persons Administrator, you will:
Support the Service Manager and Senior Workers with a range of administrative tasks.
Track referrals and caseloads to ensure information is up to date and accurately recorded.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry, maintaining confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
Input and maintain records using SystmOne.
Act as the first point of contact for young people, families, professionals and partner agencies contacting the service.
Coordinate timely responses to enquiries received by telephone, email and other communication channels.
Carry out a variety of administrative duties to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the service.
To Succeed in This Role, You'll Need:
Administration Experience: Previous administration experience is essential.
Excellent Organisation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
IT Skills: Confident using computer systems and accurately inputting data. Experience using SystmOne is desirable but not essential.
Teamwork and Initiative: The ability to use your own initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
