About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Supported Housing team as a Weekend Worker. Working 16 hours per month across weekends, you will play an important role in ensuring residents receive consistent support and that the service remains a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide practical and emotional support to residents in line with their support plans.
Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for individuals accessing the service.
Conduct wellbeing and welfare checks with residents.
Support residents to access relevant services, appointments, and community opportunities.
Maintain accurate and timely records in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Respond appropriately to incidents, safeguarding concerns, and health and safety issues.
Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to support residents' recovery and progression.
About You
Experience of supporting vulnerable adults or individuals with complex needs.
Knowledge or understanding of housing support, homelessness, mental health, substance use, or related support services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and use initiative while maintaining professional boundaries.
Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
