As a Buddy Volunteer, you will use your lived experience to provide practical and emotional support to Lewisham residents affected by drug and/or alcohol use, as well as their family members and carers. You will help individuals engage with treatment and recovery services, accompany them to appointments where appropriate, and provide encouragement to build confidence and independence. Working within agreed boundaries and supported through training, supervision, and reflective practice, you will play a vital role in helping people access the support they need and achieve positive outcomes in their recovery journey.
