About The Role

We are seeking a volunteer to support the team at Burleigh Court. We are a drug and alcohol service. We support people in making small changes, stopping completely, or reducing risk.

This role will provide a great insight into the running's of the service and will suit someone with previous experience in a similar role.

The service is open Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and we are seeking a volunteer up to 15 hours per week.

The role will include a combination of the following:

  • To provide effective reception support, including managing and directing incoming calls, taking, and directing messages, managing deliveries, greeting visitors, directing people to meetings, ensuring people sign in and out
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Replenish displays, leaflets and resources
  • Assisting with the administration and resources for group activities, training etc
  • Create resources for people accessing the service
  • Taking referrals into the service
  • Promoting the service
