About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team, supporting people affected by alcohol and drug misuse on their recovery journey. In this role, you will provide advice, advocacy, key working support and contribute to recovery planning and case management. You will work in a person-centred way that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes, while recognising and valuing diversity and individual experiences.

Key Duties

  • Provide advice, guidance and support to individuals accessing the service
  • Deliver key working sessions and support recovery planning
  • Assist with assessments and elements of case management as directed
  • Advocate on behalf of clients and support engagement with partner agencies and services
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all required data and documentation
  • Work in line with safeguarding, confidentiality, health & safety and organisational policies
  • Promote equality, inclusion and a client-centred approach in all aspects of service delivery
  • Support individuals to achieve positive outcomes and sustain recovery

About You

  • Ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Social Care, or be willing to work towards this
  • Have experience of working within policy and procedural frameworks including safeguarding and confidentiality
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be organised and able to maintain accurate records and data requirements
  • Have a flexible and proactive approach to work
  • Be committed to delivering person-centred support and recognising the value of diversity and inclusion
  • Have an understanding of substance misuse, recovery approaches and the challenges individuals may face during recovery
