As a Medical Records Administrator at our Cambridge hospital, you’ll bring a keen eye for detail, strong secretarial skills and great communication abilities. You’re proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable working with numbers and you’re committed to providing our teams with the best level of support. That’s why we’re looking for someone who brings a blend of strong administration skills and a passion for exceptional customer care to join us.

Hospital Medical Records department in a busy environment. The successful applicant will have the enthusiasm to support the team to file, pack and archive medical records along with the required supporting administration.

As our Medical Records Administrator you will:

  • Provide general administrative assistance within the team

  • Complete electronic and/or manual data entry / record keeping

  • Retrieve data in an accurate and timely manner, and to agreed standards.

  • Scan patient notes onto the hospital system

  • Ensure medical record destruction

To succeed as a Medical Records Administrator, you will need:

  • Good numeracy and literacy

  • Basic keyboard / IT skills

  • Microsoft package experience

  • GCSE English and Math's or equivalent qualification

  • Excellent attention to detail
