Salary (Actual Salary): £5,622

Working Pattern: 10 Hours Per Week, Term Time only

Join us as a Midday Supervisor, where you will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being, health, and safety of students throughout the lunchtime period. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining acceptable standards of behaviour and building positive relationships within the academy setting.

The hours of this position are  Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day (1215am - 2.15pm), term time only.

 



Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of students during the lunchtime period across the site, including supervision in the dining hall and other designated areas. This involves actively upholding acceptable behaviour standards by modelling outstanding conduct, manners, speech, and appearance at all times. 

 

You will intervene in behavioural issues using positive behaviour management strategies to bring about improvement. Furthermore, you will assist in managing the dining environment, ensuring it is kept clean and clear from slip hazards by helping with tasks like clearing tables and tidying equipment.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess strong communication, teamwork, and caring skills. It is essential to demonstrate the ability to make quick decisions regarding when to intervene to prevent children from injuring themselves or others, or when to refer cases of unruly behaviour to the Principal. 
Desirable qualities include knowledge of basic hygiene procedures and appropriate knowledge of First Aid. A willingness to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training is required. A satisfactory DBS check is mandatory.
