Role description:
This is an entry-level role for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about contemporary art, craft, history or heritage – and want to gain experience working in arts marketing.
What you’ll be doing:
Learning how to work as part of a small, committed team in a heritage and contemporary art venue
Working with the marketing team to reach a broad base of visitors, including new digital audiences
Building your digital skills in filmmaking, editing and copywriting to create and schedule social media content
Researching suitable and interesting topics using the objects in the museum and gallery exhibitions to draw out stories you find engaging for social media and longer-form web articles
Using WordPress to manage the Harley Foundation website and add new events
Scope for the role to develop based on the skillset of the candidate – with possibility of working on graphic design and press
What we’re looking for:
Familiarity with and an interest in creating content for social media (particularly Instagram and TikTok)
Ability to create engaging written content keeping our brand voice and audience in mind
Passion for expanding audiences in the arts
Some experience of using Adobe software is desirable, experience of using Microsoft programmes is essential (word/teams/outlook)
