As an Activities Volunteer, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for service users. You will co-facilitate group sessions, assist with planning and running activities and events, and support the smooth operation of day-to-day service activities. This role is central to Waythrough’s recovery-focused approach and offers a chance to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Tasks may include:

  • Co-facilitate group sessions with service users, ensuring they feel supported and included.
  • Help plan and deliver activities such as creative workshops, gentle exercise, social outings, and educational sessions.
  • Assist with organising and running events within the service.
  • Meet and greet service users, helping them feel comfortable and informed.
  • Provide practical support for general day-to-day activities within the service.
  • Prepare materials and resources for sessions and events.
